Egypt: Sports minister witnesses signing of olympic champions sponsorship contract

In a significant ceremony attended by Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Minister of Youth and Sports, and Engineer Yasser Idris, Acting President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, a sponsorship agreement was signed for several Egyptian sports champions participating in the Olympics.

The event included the presence of Dr. Walid Al-Mallah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sports Links Company, Engineer Ahmed Taha Mansour, CEO and Board Member of Cred Company, Major General Mohamed Mahmoud, President of the Wrestling Federation, Mohamed Abdel Maqsoud, President of the Weightlifting Federation, Brigadier Khaled Mahmoud, Vice President of the Taekwondo Federation, and Dr. Kamal Darwish, Head of the Operational Committee at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in addition to the leadership of the Ministry and the Board of Directors of Sports Links and Cred Company.

The protocol involves the sponsorship of a group of athletes for the upcoming Olympic Games, including Sarah Samir (Weightlifting), Mohamed Ibrahim Qisho (Wrestling), Shahd Sami (Taekwondo), Mohamed Hamza (Fencing), and Salma Ayman (Modern Pentathlon).

Both Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Minister of Youth and Sports, and Engineer Yasser Idris praised the collaborative efforts of Cred Company and Sports Links Company.

They emphasized the crucial role these companies play in supporting athletes, preparing them for the Olympics, and competing for Olympic medals.

The political leadership, they affirmed, is highly committed to the sports renaissance in Egypt in general and the athletes in particular, with the Egyptian state standing firmly behind all its sons and daughters, supporting them for competitions and Olympic qualification.

Expressing gratitude, Engineer Yasser Idris commended the cooperation between the Ministry and the Egyptian Olympic Committee, working together to provide all the necessary services for sports and Egyptian athletes’ development.

Dr. Walid Al-Mallah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sports Links Company, extended his thanks to the Minister of Youth and Sports for his tremendous support for all Egyptian athletes.

He emphasized Egypt’s substantial progress in supporting athletes to prepare them optimally for Olympic qualification and victory.

Engineer Ahmed Taha Mansour, CEO and Board Member of Cred Company, expressed his appreciation for the Minister of Youth and Sports for providing opportunities for various companies to play their national role in promoting development, including sports investment.

This investment is clearly demonstrated in the support provided to athletes, signing various sponsorship contracts to promote sports in Egypt, inspiring athletes to excel, qualify for the Olympics, and win the honor of an Olympic medal.

The contract was signed by Dr. Haitham Al-Mallah, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sports Links Company, and Mr. Alaa Idris, a Board Member of Cred Company.
