The Pharaohs opened their build-up to the FIFA World Cup 2026 in convincing fashion, cruising to a 4-0 victory over Saudi Arabia on Friday at Jeddah’s Alinma Stadium.

The commanding performance offered an early boost to coach Hossam Hassan, whose side is using this month’s camp to fine-tune ahead of the global tournament.

The meeting with Spain will serve as Egypt’s second and final fixture of the current training camp.
