Egypt goalkeeper Mohamed Seha joins El Masry from Al Ahly on loan

Egypt goalkeeper Mohamed Seha has joined El Masry from Al Ahly on loan, completing his move on 2 August 2026. The 25-year-old has switched clubs within Egypt’s Premier League and will remain with El Masry until 30 June 2027.

Seha is a 1.94m goalkeeper who prefers his left foot. His arrival gives El Masry an experienced domestic option between the posts after a career that has included spells with several Egyptian clubs.

The move follows Seha’s year at Al Ahly, whom he joined from El Mokawloon on 1 June 2025 in a €440,000 transfer. He had previously been registered with El Mokawloon after moving from the club’s under-23 side in September 2022.

Before establishing himself at Al Ahly, Seha spent part of the 2024-25 season on loan at Harras Hodoud. That temporary move began on 5 October 2024, and he returned to El Mokawloon at the end of the season before making his switch to Al Ahly.

Seha’s latest move represents another loan in a career that has seen him change clubs regularly since leaving Mokawloon U23. His spell with El Masry is also the latest stage in a sequence of moves involving senior Egyptian sides, with the goalkeeper now returning to a loan arrangement after his permanent transfer to Al Ahly.

The goalkeeper’s listed market value is €150,000, while his highest recorded value has been €300,000. Those figures provide context to a move that brings an established Egyptian goalkeeper to El Masry without a permanent transfer fee being recorded.

Seha was born on 1 May 2001 and is a native of Egypt. His height makes him a notable physical presence in goal, while his left-foot preference offers a specific profile within El Masry’s squad.

At Al Ahly, he followed a permanent move from El Mokawloon with a temporary departure to El Masry. The agreement between the clubs has now been completed, with the return arrangement scheduled for the end of the 2026-27 campaign.

Mohamed Seha’s loan spell at El Masry runs until 30 June 2027.
