Egypt Cup: Ismaily begin third preliminary round campaign on Tuesday

The Egypt Cup’s third preliminary round resumes on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, with Ismaily among the teams competing for a place in the fourth preliminary round.

Five matches will be played simultaneously at 16:00.

Ismaily face Al Rabat & Al Anwar, while Haras El Hodoud take on Samanoud.

Tanta host Sporting, and Beni Ebeid travel to face Port Fouad.

The other fixture sees Mega Sport play Pioneers.

The matches take place as national teams around the world continue preparations for international fixtures during the current international break.

The break began on Monday, 21 September, and will run until 6 October.

Egypt are scheduled to play two Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches during the period, against Angola and South Sudan.

They will end their international programme with a friendly against South Africa on 4 October.
