Egypt will hold their first full-squad training session of the September camp at 21:00 on Friday, after the arrival of the final locally based players.
The camp began on Thursday at the National Teams Centre, with the domestic players reporting for duty. Pyramids quartet Mohand Lasheen, Karim Hafez, Mostafa Ziko and Mahmoud Saber joined on Friday morning, completing the locally based contingent.
The nine overseas-based players are expected to join the squad over 21 and 22 September, according to FilGoal.com.
Egypt are preparing for two Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches, against Angola and South Sudan, followed by a friendly against South Africa.
Their first fixture is against Angola on Friday, 25 September, at Cairo Stadium. Egypt will then travel to face South Sudan on 29 September, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 Cairo time.
The team will complete its September programme with a friendly against South Africa on 4 October.
The 2027 Africa Cup of Nations will be hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda from 19 June to 17 July 2027.
