Egypt has selected three referees for the North Africa Under-20 tournament, with Hamada Al-Qalawi appointed as the main referee.
The appointments were announced by the Egyptian Football Association’s main referees committee, chaired by Essam Abdel Fattah.
Mohamed Magdy Soliman and Islam Abou El Ata will serve as assistant referees alongside Al-Qalawi.
Egypt will host the North Africa qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations Under-20 tournament from 21 September to 6 October 2026 in Ismailia.
The competition will feature the national teams of Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Libya.
Ghana will host the Africa Cup of Nations Under-20 tournament, which is scheduled to take place during February and March.
The Egypt Under-20 team will be coached by Wael Riyad.
