Egypt has initiated preparations for the first leg of the 2014 World Cup play-offs against Ghana, scheduled for October 15. Coach Bob Bradley has unveiled a second list of 23 players, this time comprising individuals playing in the local championship. Among them, 11 players hail from Al Ahly. The selected players have commenced training sessions, gearing up for a friendly match against Sierra Leone on September 28.
Bradley had earlier revealed a list of 11 expatriate players, and another friendly match is planned before the crucial trip to Kumasi to face Ghana.
Additionally, the Egyptian Football Federation announced that the return match against the Black Stars will take place on November 19, with the venue yet to be specified.
