Bordeaux’s Younès Kaabouni Names Eden Hazard as Role Model
Young Bordeaux midfielder Younès Kaabouni has revealed Eden Hazard as his footballing idol during a press conference on Friday. Unlike his teammate Wahbi Khazri, who does not cite a particular role model, Kaabouni openly acknowledged his admiration for the Belgian star.
“Right now, I really like Eden Hazard,” said the 19-year-old. “He’s the kind of modern player we love to watch and who makes me dream in front of the TV. I’ve also always admired Ronaldinho.”
Kaabouni’s prospects could improve significantly with the arrival of new Bordeaux coach Willy Sagnol, who has emphasized the development of young talent at the club.
