Ebuka Okeke: Nigerian forward joins Prostejov on loan from Hradec Kralove B
Nigerian centre-forward Ebuka Okeke has joined Czech club Prostejov on loan from Hradec Kralove B for the 2026-27 season. The 20-year-old will play in the Czech National Football League after the two clubs agreed a temporary deal running until the end of the campaign.
Okeke, who is under contract at Prostejov until 30 June 2027, makes the switch following a productive spell in the Czech Football League with Hradec Kralove B. He scored five goals and provided one assist in 11 appearances there, averaging a goal roughly every 85 minutes.
The move continues a rapid rise for the striker, who moved to Hradec Kralove’s youth ranks from Nigerian side Collins Edwin in August 2024. He stepped up from the club’s under-19 team to their B side in July 2025 before earning his first loan move away this summer.
Prostejov, competing in the second tier, will look to make use of Okeke in his preferred role through the middle of the attack. His early senior record in the CFL suggests he can offer a direct goal threat at a higher competitive level.
Okeke’s loan is scheduled to run until 30 June 2027, when he is due to return to Hradec Kralove B at the end of the temporary deal.
