Dutch midfielder Mees Kaandorp joins Wadi Degla on one-year deal

Dutch midfielder Mees Kaandorp has signed for Egyptian Premier League side Wadi Degla, making his debut in the club’s goalless draw against reigning champions Pyramids FC.

The 27-year-old was introduced as a second-half substitute during the opening match of the league season, which ended 0-0.

The result was one of four scoreless draws recorded across the first round of fixtures in the Egyptian top flight.
