Jeremie Frimpong shares plans to visit Ghana for the first time

Dutch defender of Ghanaian descent Jeremie Frimpong has reportedly travelled to England today to complete his move to Liverpool

Frimpong, 24, is set to sign a five-year deal with the Merseyside club, with medicals already arranged.

The transfer marks a key move by Liverpool to reinforce their defense ahead of the new season.

Frimpong enjoyed a standout campaign with Leverkusen, scoring five goals and delivering nine assists across 47 appearances.

His pace, energy, and attacking threat from the back have made him one of Europe’s most exciting full-backs.

Having previously developed at Manchester City and impressed at Celtic, Frimpong now looks set for a return to English football.

His move to Liverpool is expected to bring added depth and competition to the right-back position, especially as the Reds gear up for domestic and European challenges.

After showing his quality at Bayer Leverkusen, Frimpong is set to play for Premier League champions Liverpool next season.
