Mamelodi Sundowns defender Terrence Mashego has emerged on the radar of South African Premier League outfits, Durban City and Sekhukhune United.

Mashego is currently not in the plans of Sundowns, with Durban City and Sekhukhune United expressing huge interest in the highly-rated left-back.

The 29-year-old defender struggled last season at Sundowns, making just 13 appearances across competitions. With his future hanging in the balance, Mashego will have to find himself a new club for the 2025/26 campaign.

Source close to Africasoccer.com can disclose that Durban City and Sekhukhune United are in a fierce battle to capture the enterprising defender on loan.

Meanwhile, Mashego has yet to make a decision, as he continues to wait for the best possible terms in his personal contract.

Mashego joined Sundowns in 2022 from Cape Town City for €580,000. Since then, he has made 45 appearances for the “Brazilians,” scoring one goal. The 29-year-old has also earned 10 caps for the Bafana Bafana national team.
