Durban City coach Gavin Hunt responds to Zakhele Lepasa’s transfer links

Durban City manager Gavin Hunt has opened up transfer speculations regarding former Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa.

The newly promoted South African Premier League outfit has been linked with a move for the enterprising forward as the club seeks to bolster their attack for the 2025/26 football campaign.

And according to Hunt, the leadership of Durban City are in charge of transfers amid Zakhele Lepasa transfer speculations this summer.

“I’ve left it for management to decide. I don’t interfere. I can only do what I can,” said the Durban City boss.

Meanwhile, the gaffer has reiterated the need to augment their squad for the campaign, given the competitive state of the Premier League.

Currently, Durban City have 17 outfield players and three goalkeepers, with the club eligible to further strengthen the team with one or two more signings.

Durban City are currently sixth on the Premier League standings after five matches, accumulating 8 points.
