He dismissed the allegations against his father and affirmed his strong personal and professional bond with him.
“All this makes me laugh because I am deeply united with my father, on a personal and professional level. If it depends on me, he will remain at the head of the company that manages my interests and my foundation,” Messi added.
FC Barcelona President Sandro Rosell expressed support for Messi, stating that he hopes it is not a plot against the player. Messi’s denial and the support from Barcelona come amidst the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding the accusations.
