Veti club, initially leading the championship of the Entente Urbaine de Football de Matadi (Eufmat) with 30 points, faced relegation to the second division. The club was accused of participating in the competition without an insurance policy for the players. The decision to relegate Veti was confirmed by the Bas-Congo football league. FC Nord Sport has now taken the lead in the 2012 edition of Eufmat and is also the champion of the Bas-Congo Football League.
