Doue wants back-to-back Champions League history

PSG winger Desire Doue speaks with bold confidence ahead of the Champions League final.

The French talent, who won MVP in the 2025 final, says Europe’s elite is within reach.

“It’s simply magnificent to have this opportunity. Many players and teams do not compete in a Champions League final in their careers. Two in a row is even better,” Doue said.

He believes PSG’s run is well-deserved: “We have shown some beautiful things throughout these two seasons. We know that we have the ability to go and win this final against a very good Arsenal team”.

Doue explained the champion’s mindset: “But the greatest champions, whether in football or other sports, when they win a big trophy, they want to win it back… We want to make history and become a legend”.

Reflecting on his MVP performance: “Every time I think about it, I’m very happy. Personally, it has definitely changed my daily life and the way I see things”.

Off the pitch, he stays grounded: “In life, what my parents instilled in me is a good education. It’s essential. It’s very important to be respectful towards everyone. I try to be myself and not play a role”.
