Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Croatian youngster Ante Crnac to serve as backup for Guinean striker Serhou Guirassy.
Serhou Guirassy, 29, signed for Borussia Dortmund from Stuttgart last summer after enjoying an amazing season in the German Bundesliga.
In his debut campaign with Dortmund, the striker has not disappointed, excelling in all competitions, especially the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League.
Dortmund, with no outright backup for Serhou Guirassy have decided that it is important to bring in reinforcement in the summer transfer window.
As a result, a few players have been identified, with Ante Crnac reportedly topping the list.
Officials of Dortmund have looked at the Croatian for a while and believes he has enough talent to make it at the club.
This season, Ante Crnac has scored seven goals and provided four assists for Norwich City after making 36 appearances in the English Championship.
At 21, the Croatian has a lot to learn and can do that at Dortmund, a club known for honing the talent of young players.
It is up to Dortmund to push in the summer to get the deal done.
