Borussia Dortmund have joined a growing list of European heavyweights tracking Moroccan teenager Ilian Hadidi, as the German club intensifies its summer rebuild plans.

With changes expected ahead of the new season, Dortmund’s sporting leadership is actively exploring emerging talents, and Hadidi has now emerged as a key name on their radar.

The 17-year-old midfielder, currently developing at Standard Liège, has attracted attention following a series of impressive performances in recent months.

According to reports from Belgium, Dortmund face stiff competition for the youngster’s signature. Clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Lille, AS Monaco, Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, Feyenoord and Club Brugge are all said to be monitoring his progress closely.

Hadidi’s appeal lies in his versatility and maturity on the ball. Comfortable in both advanced and deeper midfield roles, he has shown an ability to influence games across multiple phases of play.

His recent displays with Morocco’s U17 side have only strengthened his growing reputation.

At club level, the teenager has enjoyed a productive campaign, scoring six goals in 15 appearances for Standard Liège’s U18 team. His development has not gone unnoticed internally either, with the Belgian side reportedly keen to secure his future through a contract extension.

Despite those efforts, uncertainty remains over his next move, as interest from across Europe continues to build around one of Morocco’s most promising young prospects.
