In the absence of Robert Lewandowski, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang led Borussia Dortmund’s attack but failed to find the net as they suffered a heavy defeat against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu (0-3).
Despite this setback, Aubameyang retains the confidence of his coach Jürgen Klopp ahead of the second leg of the Champions League. For the upcoming match, Aubameyang will be positioned off-center to accommodate Pierre Lewandowski and Reus in the forefront of the attack, with the latter also returning to the lineup.
Here is Borussia Dortmund’s lineup:
BVB: Langerak – Piszczek, Sokratis, Hummels, Großkreutz – Sahin, Kehl – Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan, Reus – Lewandowski
