Dortmund agree deal with Chelsea to sign English-Nigerian midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka

German outfit Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign English midfielder of Nigerian descent, Carney Chukwuemeka.

Chukwuemeka, who previously featured for Dortmund on loan, will join the German giants on a permanent transfer. According to reports from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have also included a significant resale clause as part of the agreement.

The 21-year-old is one of two imminent additions to Dortmund’s squad, alongside Argentine defender Aaron Anselmino, who arrives on loan without a purchase option. Both players are expected to undergo their medical examinations on Monday before the official unveiling.

Sky reporter Patrick Berger also confirmed the move, reinforcing Dortmund’s busy summer transfer window as they look to strengthen key areas of their squad.

Carney Chukwuemeka is excited about the move and hopes to make an impact in Germany.
