Dominique Kumbela continues to impress with his performances for Eintracht Braunschweig in the Bundesliga. Despite his outstanding form, he has yet to represent the Democratic Republic of Congo at the international level due to administrative issues that prevented his participation in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
Kumbela showcased his goal-scoring prowess once again by opening the scoring in Braunschweig’s match against Nuremberg. However, despite his contribution, the team ultimately fell short as Nuremberg emerged victorious with a 2-1 win.
The Congolese Football Federation (Fecofa) remains hopeful of convincing Kumbela to join the national team, as his talent and form could significantly strengthen the Leopards’ squad.
