Distel Zola Joins Châteauroux on Three-Year Deal
Le Havre midfielder Distel Zola has signed a three-year contract with Ligue 2 side Châteauroux. Having spent three and a half years at Le Havre, Zola decided to seek new challenges for his personal development despite having one year left on his contract.
“It’s a club with ambition,” Zola said after his presentation on Thursday, alongside young defender Cédric Hountondji, who joins on loan from Rennes. “I spoke with the directors and the coach about their project, which I fully support. Now, it’s up to me to perform on the pitch and have a good season with this group.”
