Algeria: Disciplinary committee issues decisions to settle matchday 9

لجنة الانضباط

The Disciplinary Committee affiliated with the Professional League has issued its decisions regarding the postponed matches from Matchday 9 of the professional championship, which took place on January 30th and 31st of the past month.

In a statement, the league revealed that the committee, which convened last Thursday, decided to penalize the coach of USM Alger, Juan Carlos Garrido, with a fine of 10 million centimes due to his protests against the referee during his team’s match against CS Constantine.

Furthermore, CS Constantine has been fined an amount of 3 million centimes for the use of fireworks by their fans during the same match, which ended in a 2-1 victory for “the Politicians.”

On the other hand, three players from Mouloudia Oran, Ben Ayad Mourad, Mohamed Ben Gharina, and Foughoul Sennoussi, each received a fine of 10 million centimes.

This penalty is a consequence of their protests against the referee’s decisions during the match in which their team suffered a 2-0 defeat against CR Belouizdad.
