Dinamo Moscow Puts William Vainqueur on the Transfer Market

William Vainqueur Placed on Transfer List as Dynamo Moscow Seek €3 Million Deal
By BBC News Sport Europe

Dynamo Moscow have officially placed French midfielder William Vainqueur on the transfer list, signaling the end of his time at the Russian club just one year after his arrival from Standard Liège.

In a brief statement, the club announced: “Dynamo Moscow has put William Vainqueur on the market.” The move is unusual in its directness, with the club openly inviting offers for the 26-year-old, rather than waiting for interest to be generated through agents or intermediaries.

Vainqueur, who was born in France to Haitian parents, joined Dynamo in 2014 after a three-year stint in Belgium, where he impressed with his consistency and work rate in Standard Liège’s midfield. His move to Russia was seen as a step forward in his career, and he went on to make 25 appearances in his debut season.

Despite his regular involvement on the pitch, Dynamo management appear unconvinced by his overall contribution and have now decided to part ways. The club is reportedly seeking a transfer fee of €3 million — a figure that may pose a hurdle in finalising a deal.

With two years remaining on his contract, Vainqueur’s future now hangs in the balance. While the midfielder has shown flashes of quality and physical presence, his next move will be crucial in revitalising his career after a mixed spell in the Russian Premier League.
