Dimitri Payet has completed his move to Marseille, successfully passing the traditional medical examination and signing his contract. The French international shared his thoughts on joining the club and his expectations for the future collaboration with Mathieu Valbuena.
According to Payet, he felt genuinely wanted by the club’s president and José Anigo during the initial exchanges. He expressed a sense of being part of a big family and hopes to contribute to the success of the team in the upcoming season. Payet mentioned that he already knows some players like Rod Fanni and Souleymane Diawara, which he believes will help him adapt more quickly.
The former Lille player emphasized the importance of integration and expressed eagerness to start training and playing matches with Marseille. Payet also spoke positively about his relationship with Mathieu Valbuena, stating, “I like playing with Mathieu.
