According to RMC, the Marseille club aims to finalize the reunion with the French international before the upcoming training sessions at the Robert Louis-Dreyfus center, scheduled to commence next Monday. In pursuit of this, Marseille’s leadership has presented a fresh offer of €7.5 million for Payet, and it is anticipated that Lille will not oppose his departure for a sum close to €10 million.
Sources suggest that Lille may be willing to adjust their stance, with an offer of €9 million potentially being sufficient to facilitate the transfer. It is noted that Marseille has already reached an agreement on the contractual terms with the player, signaling progress in their pursuit of Dimitri Payet.
