Dimitri Payet is set to join Olympique de Marseille (OM) after an agreement was reached between Vincent Labrune, president of OM, and Michel Seydoux, president of LOSC, late Tuesday evening. The transfer is estimated at 10 million euros.
The former attacking midfielder, previously with Nantes and Saint-Etienne, is making a move from LOSC to the South East. Payet had initially signed a four-year contract with LOSC two years ago, and the Lille club had acquired him for a fee of nine million euros, along with additional bonuses. Now, he is set to continue his career with Olympique de Marseille.
