Baba Tchagouni, the Togolese goalkeeper for Dijon, has shared positive news about his future. He is set to depart from his current club at the end of the Ligue 2 season in France. The announcement was made through a post on his Facebook wall, where he expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming match against Istres. While Baba Tchagouni confirmed his departure from DFCO, he didn’t disclose details about his next destination.
Despite being capped nine times for the Togo national team, Tchagouni Baba hasn’t played any matches for his club this season. Since joining from Martigues in 2009, he signed a three-season contract with Dijon. Trained at the Planète Foot Academy in Togo, Tchagouni began his journey in France in 2007. Notably, he played in the African Cadet Cup of Nations in 2007 in Lomé, where Togo reached the final but narrowly missed out on victory.
As of now, Dijon occupies the 6th position with 56 points, making them highly likely to compete in Ligue 2 for the upcoming season.
