Dieumerci Mbokani has officially transferred from Anderlecht to Dynamo Kiev. The Congolese striker signed a four-year contract with the Ukrainian club. The move was characterized by some difficulties, but it ultimately aligned with the financial plans agreed upon by both clubs. Anderlecht’s manager, Herman Van Holsbeeck, acknowledged the departure as a loss on a sporting level but expressed gratitude to both Dynamo Kiev for collaboration and Dieumerci Mbokani for his contribution to Anderlecht’s recent championship titles. Mbokani had previously played for Anderlecht, Standard Liege, Monaco, and Wolfsburg in his career. Dynamo Kiev finished third in the last championship and will compete in the Europa League.
