Thankfully, the injury was not severe. Regarding the missed penalty, a bizarre incident unfolded in the stands right in front of the Spanish striker. Just before taking the shot, a Madrid supporter decided to drop his pants and show Costa his buttocks. While it’s unclear if this directly influenced Costa’s performance, he did stumble in his attempt, resulting in Getafe goalkeeper Codina saving the shot.
