Didier Lamkel Zé leaves Kazma SC after brief spell
Cameroonian striker Didier Lamkel Zé has officially ended his spell with Kazma SC after confirming that he will not renew his contract following a brief and inactive stint at the club.
Lamkel Zé announced his departure via a post on his Instagram account, bringing an end to his time in Kuwait just months after joining during the winter transfer window.
In his message, the forward confirmed the expiry of his contract and his decision to move on.
“My contract expires on May 30th. I am writing to inform you that I will not be renewing it, and I wish you all the best for the future. Thank you, Kazma SC.”
The 28-year-old leaves Kazma SC without having made a single competitive appearance for the club, a situation that appears to have influenced his decision to part ways at the end of his contract.
His brief stay was marked by a lack of playing time, with the striker not featuring in any official matches since his arrival. That absence from competitive action has raised questions over his role at the club and his long-term fit within the squad.
Lamkel Zé, who has previously played across several European and international leagues, will now turn his attention to finding a new club ahead of the upcoming season. A move that provides regular playing opportunities is expected to be a priority as he looks to restart his career.
The striker’s next step will be closely watched given his reputation for unpredictability and his experience in different football environments. However, his immediate focus will be securing a sporting project that allows him to return to consistent match action.
For Kazma SC, the departure marks the end of a short-lived signing that ultimately did not result in any on-field contribution.
