Galatasaray’s coronation was sealed with a convincing 4-2 victory against Sivasspor. Goals from Selcuk Inan and Burak Yilmaz secured the win, while Bekmezci and Özkara scored for Sivasspor. This title marks the 19th national championship for Galatasaray.
For Didier Drogba, this victory represents his first collective trophy since May 2012 when he won the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea. After a brief stint in China with Shanghai Shenhua, the Ivorian captain of the Elephants returned to winning ways with Galatasaray in Turkey.
