Nineteen-year-old Senegalese goalkeeper Dialy Kobaly Ndiaye, currently on trial at Stade de Reims, has sparked a wave of transfer rumors following speculation about a potential move. The young talent, who plays in Senegal’s third division for Cayor Foot in Tivaouane, impressed at the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, where he helped his team reach the final.
Earlier reports, including one from RMC Sport, claimed that Ndiaye had officially signed with Stade de Reims. However, the goalkeeper quickly denied these reports, clarifying via Wiwsport and his Twitter account that no contract has been signed. The confusion reportedly stemmed from Ndiaye’s agent visiting Reims to monitor his client’s trial, which led to premature speculation about a formal agreement. “That’s false! That’s not true! They published that information simply because my agent was there to check on me, to see how I was doing… But there was absolutely no signing,” Ndiaye stated.
While the Senegalese U20 international is gaining attention, especially with Reims potentially losing their starting goalkeeper Edouard Mendy to Olympique de Marseille, nothing has been finalized regarding Ndiaye’s future. The young keeper remains on trial at the French club, and any official move will be confirmed only once both parties reach an agreement.
