Former Egypt assistant coach Diaa El-Sayed says he is waiting for another meeting with the Egyptian Football Association to determine his future.
El-Sayed told DMC: “I have not been officially appointed to a specific position within the Football Association.”
He added: “What happened was a meeting with Hany Abu Rida, but we have not reached any official details yet. Another meeting with me will be held in the coming period.”
El-Sayed previously worked as assistant coach to Portuguese manager Carlos Queiroz with the Egypt national team for 20 matches.
He also served as assistant to American coach Bob Bradley for 32 matches.
