Devin Titus joins Moroccan champions Maghreb Association Sportive de Fes

Stellenbosch FC winger Devin Titus has completed a move to Moroccan champions Maghreb Association Sportive de Fes, signing a three-year contract with the Botola Pro side.

The 26-year-old was officially unveiled by Maghreb Association Sportive de Fes on Sunday after finalising his transfer, bringing an end to his time with Stellenbosch FC.

Titus had established himself as one of Stellenbosch FC’s most important players in recent seasons. His move to Morocco represents the next stage of a career that began in the club’s youth system and developed into a significant role in the first team.

He made his senior debut for Stellenbosch FC in 2021 and went on to record 36 goals and 20 assists in 176 appearances for the club. Those figures underline the attacking contribution he made during his time with Stellenbosch FC, where he became a regular source of goals and chances from the wing.

His arrival at Maghreb Association Sportive de Fes comes as the Moroccan club prepare for an important campaign. The Botola Pro champions are looking to strengthen their squad before beginning their title defence in North Africa, while also planning for an ambitious run in the CAF Champions League.

Titus is the latest South African player to join the Moroccan side, following Tshegofatso Mabasa to Maghreb Association Sportive de Fes. The club’s recruitment of both players reflects its desire to add further quality ahead of a season that will demand performances in domestic and continental competition.

For Titus, the transfer provides an opportunity to continue his career outside South Africa after four years with Stellenbosch FC’s senior side. He developed through the club’s youth ranks before making his debut in 2021, and his subsequent record of 176 appearances, 36 goals and 20 assists made him one of the club’s key performers.

Maghreb Association Sportive de Fes have now formally presented the winger after agreeing the three-year deal.
