There have already been multiple meetings between Vinicius Jr and Saudi Arabia officials over a potential move, this is according to sources.
Radio Marca has reported that the first meeting between the Brazilian star with Cameroon roots and the Saudis occurred in 2023.
It is understood that the Real Madrid poster boy had a sit-down meeting with the Saudi Arabian officials where he listened to their offer and the prepared project for him.
The meeting reported to have been cordial is said to have lasted under 20 minutes, with the Saudis making it clear they would love to have Vinicius Jr playing in the Pro League.
Among the proposals made, the forward was promised an ambassadorial role for the 2034 FIFA World Cup that is scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia.
Subsequently, another meeting was held in Prague, Czech Republic with the agent of Vinicius Jr having face-to-face talks with the vice president of the Saudi Pro League, Saad Al Lazeez.
It is believed that at that meeting, the Saudis offered 1 billion euros for Vinicius for five seasons.
This means he would receive 200 million per season as a salary if he agreed to a move.
Although the monetary aspect and the project were made clear to Vinicius, the destination club is yet to be revealed.
Despite the strong interest from the Saudis, Real Madrid are confident Vinicus Jr will stay at the club.
