Franco-Ivorian Désiré Doué’s stunning finish against Lille crowned Ligue 1 Goal of the Month

Desire Doue has begun working his way back to full fitness as he resumed individual training sessions with PSG after being sidelined by injury.

The 20-year-old midfielder, widely regarded as one of the brightest talents in Europe, is going through a carefully managed two-week recovery program. According to reports, he is expected to rejoin the squad after the international break, giving PSG a huge boost in midfield.

Doue didn’t feature for the French champions throughout September after suffering the setback while on international duty with France last month. His absence has been felt, as his creativity and flair were key in last season’s Champions League final where he scored a memorable goal.

The good news for PSG is that patience may soon pay off. Doue’s return is not immediate, as he will sit out upcoming Ligue 1 matches against Lille and Strasbourg.

Despite missing their young star, PSG remains in control of the domestic race. They top the Ligue 1 table with 15 points from six matches, holding a superior goal difference of +8.
