Desire Doue highlights calm but focused PSG mood ahead of Arsenal clash
Desire Doue paints the picture of a serene yet driven PSG camp less than two weeks before the Champions League final against Arsenal.
Far from feeling the pressure, the young midfielder says the squad is training with smiles on their faces and a clear sense of purpose. He stresses that the players trust Luis Enrique and his staff to guide them through the final stretch of preparation.
“The coach will guide us during training. But we’re here to work hard and be ready for the big day”, Doue explained during the club’s Media Day, underlining how closely the group follows the staff’s plans. He recalls last season’s run with affection, noting how “We were all very happy, very excited of course” as the team built momentum together.
That same energy is back at the training centre, where every session is described as a pleasure rather than a chore. “We were truly joyful at every training session, and I see that feeling again here”, he says, delighted by the mood when the squad regrouped this week.
“As soon as we got back today, it was really nice to see each other again”, Doué adds, insisting the players are eager to work, push to “to be at 100% on the big day” and stay “truly joyful” as they chase the coveted European crown and a domestic‑European double.
