Paris Saint-Germain winger Desire Doue suffered a potentially serious hamstring injury during the away game against Lorient on October 29, 2025.

The talented young attacker clutched his leg and left the pitch in tears, visibly distraught as he was replaced by Bradley Barcola.

The game was at 1-1 as Desire Doue exited, dampening PSG’s momentum. Nuno Mendes scored for PSG in the 50th minute, but Lorient hit them back in the 51st minute through Igor Silva. Doue’s absence comes at a tough time for the squad, already hit by injuries.

There are fears that he may face another lengthy spell out, although PSG fans hope for a less severe prognosis.

Before the setback, Desire Doue was enjoying a positive 2025/26 Ligue 1 campaign: 6 matches played, 1 goal, 1 assist, 313 minutes played. His goals-per-90 rate stood at 0.29, with solid progressive dribbling numbers and a goal involvement of 0.58 per 90 minutes.

PSG will now regroup and prepare for their home game against Nice on November 1st.
