Desire Doue celebrates magical PSG night in Munich

Desire Doue hailed Paris Saint-Germain’s triumph over Bayern Munich as “an exceptional match” and “another magical night in Munich” after the French champions booked their place in the Champions League final.

He said the players can savour the moment together while keeping their feet on the ground.

“It was an exceptional match, another magical night in Munich against a great team. We have to congratulate them,” Doué reflected, calling it the kind of occasion players dream about from childhood. “These are the kinds of matches we dream of playing since we were little. Now, we’re going to enjoy this as a team. We’re staying humble.”

Doue stressed that PSG’s season is far from over, pointing to the challenges that remain both in Ligue 1 and in Europe. “There’s still work to be done in Ligue 1 and the Champions League. We can’t win all the time with extraordinary play,” he noted, praising the team’s defensive discipline in Munich.

“Today, we defended very well. That’s our strength, we’re capable of attacking and defending.” Looking ahead, he warned that the final against Arsenal “is going to be a very tough final against Arsenal, who are also a very good team,” underlining a confident yet focused PSG mood.
