Ghanaian midfielder Derek Boateng has confirmed his signing for Fulham, marking his return to the Premier League. Boateng arrives at Fulham as a free agent after terminating his contract with Ukrainian club Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
Taking to Twitter, the 30-year-old expressed his happiness about the confirmed agreement, stating, “I signed a two-year contract with Fulham! I am happy to see this agreement confirmed. Thank you to God, to my family, and to all those who supported me.”
Boateng had been expected to join Fulham since January, and despite a successful medical examination at that time, the deal could not be concluded. The Ghanaian midfielder, who previously played for Getafe in Spain, Cologne in Germany, and Panathinaikos in Greece, is now set for his stint in the Premier League with Fulham.
