Deportivo La Coruna plans to offer Cameron youngster Bil Nsongo professional contract

Spanish outfit Deportivo La Coruna is considering offering Cameroonian attacker Bil Dornol Nsongo a professional contract.

The 21-year-old forward has been outstanding for the club’s reserve team (Deportivo Fabril) this season, scoring eight goals and providing an assist in 12 appearances in the Spanish fourth-tier league.

Nsongo, a winner of the U20 Francophonie Games with the Indomitable Lions and former striker for Canon Yaoundé, has made a name for himself in Cameroon. He distinguished himself during his time at Lausanne d’Anguissa and Canon Yaoundé before moving to Spain.

With Deportivo’s reserve team, where he has played for two years, he has consistently delivered remarkable performances and was even named player of the month last season. He has scored 13 goals in 24 appearances in his two-year spell.

The Spanish outfit now view the Cameroonian as a valuable asset and are set to be considering a two-year professional contract for the attacker. He joined the club in summer 2024, with his current contract expiring in summer 2026.
