Denis Odoi: Ghana-Belgium defender joins Club NXT on free transfer from NAC Breda

Ghana-Belgium defender Denis Odoi has joined Belgian side Club NXT on a free transfer from Dutch club NAC Breda. The 38-year-old centre-back has signed a deal running until 30 June 2027 with the Challenger Pro League outfit.

Odoi makes the switch after his spell in the Netherlands with NAC Breda in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, returning to Belgian football to continue his career with Club NXT. The move is a permanent transfer, with no fee involved.

Primarily a centre-back, Odoi brings extensive experience to his new club and is expected to operate in the heart of the defence. He is right-footed, stands at 1.78m, and has been given the number 96 shirt.

Born in Leuven on 27 May 1988, Odoi holds both Ghanaian and Belgian nationality and has spent much of his career in European football. His market value has most recently been assessed at around €150,000.

Odoi officially joined Club NXT on 27 July 2026 and is now under contract with the Belgian side until the summer of 2027.
