Denis Kibu: MC Algiers linked with Al-Nasr winger

Tanzanian winger Denis Kibu is being linked with a move from Libyan Premier League club Al-Nasr to Algerian side MC Algiers.

Kibu, 25, plays primarily on the left wing and joined Al-Nasr from Tanzanian club Simba SC on 10 February 2026 in a deal reported at €211,000. He had previously moved to Simba from Mbeya City in 2021.

The Algeria Ligue 1 club have emerged as the reported destination for Kibu, although the transfer remains unconfirmed and no fee or probability has been disclosed. Kibu’s listed market value is €225,000.

The Mbeya-born player has recorded four goals in 17 CAF Confederation Cup appearances and three goals in 24 CAF Champions League matches. He has also made seven appearances in the Libyan Premier League, providing one assist.

Kibu is contracted to Al-Nasr until 30 June 2027, meaning any move to MC Algiers would require an agreement between the clubs unless his contract situation changes.
