Dembele warns Arsenal as PSG turn to Champions League final

Ousmane Dembele says Paris Saint-Germain have already switched their attention to the Champions League final after wrapping up another Ligue 1 title with a controlled win over Lens.

“We wanted to win, to prepare for the final on May 30th,” Dembele told BeIN Sports after PSG were officially crowned French champions again. “We had to play a serious match, there’s another one on Sunday against Paris FC.”

The winger stressed that while the squad would allow themselves a brief celebration, the real objective is still to come. “We’re going to celebrate because it’s official, we’re champions. We’ll celebrate a little, but stay focused,” he added, underlining the mood in a dressing room chasing European glory.

PSG beat Lens 2-0 to make it five Ligue 1 titles in a row, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Ibrahim Mbaye on target and goalkeeper Matvey Safonov standing out with several big saves. Despite that dominance, Dembele was clear the squad’s mindset is fixed on facing Arsenal in the Champions League final on May 30.

Asked about the prospect of another Ballon d’Or, the 2025 winner brushed it aside: “Individual trophies come second. The most important are the team trophies. On May 30th, we have something big for all PSG fans.”
