France defender of Guinea-Bissau descent Dayot Upamecano is facing uncertain future at Bayern Munich ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to reports, the German Bundesliga club could be forced to sell the centre-back at the end of the 2024/25 football season.
This comes barely 24 hours after news broke that Dayot Upamecano has decided to stay at Bayern Munich despite interest from French Ligue 1 champions PSG.
This season, Dayot Upamecano has battled injuries and missed many games for Bayern Munich.
He has made 20 appearances for the German Bundesliga champions and scored two goals for the team en route to clinching the title.
Due to his injury setbacks this season, Dayot Upamecano has been linked with a departure from the club.
He remains under contract until the summer of 2026, but it is now being reported that he may leave this summer.
Bayern Munich are determined not to lose the player on a free transfer. If he does not sign a contract extension soon, the club will be forced to sell him this summer to raise funds.
