Davis Mensah linked with Ravenna move from Mantova

Italian-Ghanaian centre-forward Davis Mensah has been linked with a move from Serie B club Mantova to Serie C side Ravenna.

Mensah, 35, has been with Mantova since joining from Pordenone in August 2022 and remains under contract until 30 June 2027. The reported interest comes with the forward’s current club competing in Serie B and Ravenna listed in Serie C – B.

The Bussolengo-born striker has made 80 Serie B appearances, scoring six goals and providing 10 assists. He has also recorded 115 appearances, 19 goals and 13 assists in Serie C – B, while his broader career includes spells with Pordenone, Triestina and Virtus Verona.

Mensah’s time at Mantova has included the club’s 2023-24 Serie C title, the only honour recorded in his career. He has been listed as a centre-forward and is right-footed.

The potential move would represent a return to Serie C for the player, who previously featured at that level for Mantova and Pordenone. However, there has been no confirmation that an agreement has been reached between Ravenna and Mantova, and Mensah’s existing contract currently runs for another season beyond the 2026-27 campaign.
