Dani Olmo highlights Barcelona’s attacking strength after Feyenoord rout

Dani Olmo says Barcelona’s ability to create chances, attack proactively and adapt to different positions is behind their impressive start to the season in Spain and Europe.

Barcelona sent an early warning to the rest of the continent by opening their Champions League league phase campaign with a commanding 5-1 victory over Feyenoord at Spotify Camp Nou on Wednesday evening.

The midfielder also acknowledged the demands that accompany playing for Barcelona. The club’s status means expectations remain high in every competition, while continuing to perform at the same level can be more difficult than reaching it initially.

“The expectations are always high. We are Barcelona. We want to compete for everything. It is not easy to continue in this way because the difficulty lies in staying there. But there is always room for improvement,” Olmo said.
