Cynthia Nzila Ngoma withdraws from Karl Malalou’s FECOFOOT election list

Cynthia Ligina Grace Nzila Ngoma has withdrawn her candidacy from the list led by Karl Malalou ahead of the upcoming election for the Congolese Football Federation (FECOFOOT) presidency.

Nzila Ngoma informed the electoral commission of her decision in an official letter dated 18 September 2026.

The candidate addressed the committee responsible for overseeing the General Assembly, formally asking for her name to be removed from Malalou’s list.

She gave “personal reasons” for her decision but did not provide further details about what had led to her withdrawal.
