The fourth edition of the Tour du Rwanda commenced with a 3.5-kilometer prologue in the streets of Kigali, the capital. The race featured the participation of top national teams from various African countries, as well as international teams from France, Reunion, Brazil, and Canada. The Tour of Rwanda is gaining popularity and significance in the cycling world, now being classified as UCI 2.2. The race spans eight stages, covering a total distance of 890.3 kilometers. Cycling has been growing in popularity in Rwanda, and the Tour of Rwanda has become one of the key cycling events on the continent.
